15th Feb, 2023

Introduction
GLOBEPREP is committed to promoting sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. This sustainability policy outlines our commitment to sustainability and the actions we are taking to achieve it.

Commitment to Sustainability
We value meeting current needs without compromising future generations as stated in the Bruntland Report on our Common future. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainability in all aspects of our business operations. This includes reducing waste, conserving energy and water, using sustainable products, and promoting sustainable transportation options for our employees. We remain committed to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimizes our potential impact on the environment. We will continue to also operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we will strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.

Green Office Practices
We have implemented a number of green office practices to reduce our environmental impact, including:

- Encouraging telecommuting and virtual meetings to reduce travel. This includes promoting and continuing to invest in technologies that provide alternatives to business travel
- Minimise our waste and then reuse or recycle as much of it as is possible.
- Incorporating energy efficiency measures into the firm’s facilities and promoting efficient energy use in all areas of business activity
- Where required by legislation or where significant health, safety or environmental hazards exist, develop, and maintain appropriate pre-emptive checks and measures as well as emergency response
programmes

Sustainable Procurement
We are committed to using sustainable products and services in our business operations and sourcing them from suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. E.g. Use of eco-friendly cleaning products. This includes considering factors such as energy efficiency, recyclability, and life cycle analysis when making purchasing decisions.

Carbon emissions Projects
We collaborate to foster increased awareness of carbon emissions through investment in and research and training support towards innovative visibility in reporting, renewable energy and carbon reduction projects. This helps us to collectively work towards reducing our carbon footprint and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuously improving our sustainability practices and reducing our environmental impact. This includes regularly reviewing our operations and implementing new initiatives to promote sustainability.

Education and Awareness
We aim to integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into our decision making and internal/ external activities. We educate our employees on the importance of sustainability and provide them with the tools and resources they need to support our sustainability initiatives. We also educate our clients and stakeholders on the benefits of sustainability and how they can reduce their own environmental impact.

UN Sustainable Development Goals
Our work is relevant to SDG 5, 10 AND 17 Of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030.

SDG 17 (Strengthening the Means of Implementation and Revitalizing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development): This goal focuses on strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
SDG 5 (Gender Equality): This goal aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
